About this school : In 2004, ARDA Luang Prabang Language Centre opened to serve the needs of the English language learners in the city of Luang Prabang. The Centre is located near Phousi Market on the south end of town (see map below). Designated a World Heritage site in 1995, Luang Prabang is one of the cultural centres of Lao PDR and a popular destination for tourists from all over the world. ARDA is helping students in Luang Prabang learn and use what has become the de facto language of tourism: English.  Besides classes, students can also take advantage of the library,  the thriving English Club, and numerous informal teacher-student events and activities throughout the year. ARDA Language Centre also has a Lao language program for non-Lao speakers.  Classes are taught by trained, experienced native Lao-speaking teachers.
