About Seri Mulia Sarjana School :

Seri Mulia Sarjana School (formerly PDS School)  was founded on the 13th of January 1992. It opened its Preschool in the same year. Seri Mulia Sarjana School reward has been steady growth. The original Preschool with only 14 students soon grew to include the Primary section. In 2001, the school opened its Secondary section – comparatively making it the youngest among 5 private schools nationwide offering the programme.

The school registered a growth rate of 180% during its early years – emerging as one of the progressive schools in Brunei Darussalam. Boosted by the growing public confidence and trust, Seri Mulia Sarjana School hit the 1,000 student mark in only 5 years.  To reflect what the school stands for and reaffirm the school’s achievements a name change was effected in 2008. The then PDS School is now known as Seri Mulia Sarjana School.

In 2014, the school joined the network of more than 92 countries in the world and became an IPC School joining the rest of other 1,650 elite schools worldwide. It implemented the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) for Early Years in the Preschool section.

Seri Mulia Sarjana School was established on the precept of “Total Education for All”, alongside these three important foundations: Excellence, Patriotism and Values. These have since become the school’s guiding principle in establishing a sound curriculum that meets the individual needs of each the students and leads the way to their academic and personal success. The school enlists a faculty of professionals who sincerely care about the students and respect every student’s efforts. They collaborate with parents to nurture children into respectful, confident and joyful learners.

The school is also extensively involved in serving the broader Bruneian community through a meaningful purpose and shared values of its outreach programmes.

Today, after more than 20 years of continuous operation, Seri Mulia Sarjana School caters to the educational needs of over 2,500 students. We have since been recognised by the general public among the country’s top school nationwide with stellar performances at the national Year 6 PSR Exam and international GCE ‘O’ Level exam at Year 11. The school has also been recognised by the Ministry of Education (MOE) as the school with best Extra-Curricular Activity (ECA) programmes nationwide in 2011.
