About Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Secondary School :
Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Secondary School , in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu´izzaddin Waddaulah Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam´s Silver Jubilee of Ascending to the throne on Monday, 7 Rabiulakhir 1413 Hijrah corresponding to 5 October 1992, His Majesty has officially consented in the establishment of a foundation called Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.
Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah was established under an act called Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Act (Chapter 166). Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah was set up based on FIVE objectives namely Religion, Welfare, Education, Development and Finance.
Since its establishment, it has implemented several projects and activities in line with its principles and objectives in the areas of Religion, Welfare, Education, Development and Finance. Strategic partners and volunteers are one of the main contributors towards the growth of its social welfare activities.
Among the development projects which have been carried out are the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex and the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah School. In accordance with the objectives of the establishment of Yayasan, Volunteers Unit was established with the aim to foster awareness and enhance the spirit of volunteering of the community.
With His Majesty´s consent, beginning of 1424 Hijrah corresponding to 2003, Yayasan has organized Hari Raya Celebration by inviting different community groups every year to be highlighted in generating a peaceful society. During this event, His Majesty would consent to give his titah, a message which needs to be upheld for the interest of the religion, people and country.
In addition, the Yayasan is also to handle the distribution of Personal Gifts of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu´izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam, namely dates, ihram attire and telekong, which has become the annual projects of Yayasan.
