Established in 1858, the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES), now known as Cambridge Assessment, is a department of the prestigious University of Cambridge and is Europe’s leading education assessment agency. Among the major examination boards incorporated in Cambridge Assessment are:

Cambridge Assessment has been administrating a comprehensive suite of tests and examinations in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) since 1913. Respected for their highest quality of assessment, the exams are taken by more than 3 million learners and teachers of English in over 130 countries every year to help them gain entrance to university or college, improve their job prospects, increase their mobility globally, travel or live abroad, or have a valid measure of their English language proficiency.
Established in 2001, Cambridge English For Life (CEFL) is the leading provider of accredited ready to launch English language, Maths and early childhood development programmes. Thousands of parents, students and clients have benefited from CEFL programmes over the years. CEFL is characterised by its unique history, a commitment to quality education, a growing network of centres in Malaysia and a strict adherence to the following guiding principles:

Because CEFL uses British text books as the core texts in their courses, learners are exposed to a wide range of topics outside the normal run of their school curriculum which provides opportunities for enrichment. They broaden their horizons, acquiring knowledge in geography, history and different cultures. And at the end of the course they have the chance to obtain a valuable qualification from the University of Cambridge English Language Assessment examinations. Success in an Upper Main Suite examination (see below) provides learners with a qualification which meets the English language entry requirements of colleges and universities worldwide.
