Job Title: Chief Accountant (Level-K)

Job Responsibilities:
· Day to day routines and issues re. Financial Accounting
· Preparation of Management Information:
– Trial Balance, to be generated through the G/L module
– Monthly Financial Statement i.e. P/L, B/S, etc. – to be completed within 5 working days after month end closing
– Monthly Cash and Banks position – to be completed within 5 working days after month end closing
· Review of payment vouchers and journal vouchers for completeness and accuracy
· Review and Reconciliation of revenue between G/L and A/R modules and Enrollment reports
· Preparation of vouchers for Corporate Credit Cards, Investments, Foreign exchange gains/ losses, etc.
· Preparation of Investment Reports
· Review all monthly bank reconciliations
· Coordination with auditors and preparation of information for audit purposes
· Creation of new account codes for J.D. Edwards system
· Preparation of detailed expenditure statements
· Petty Cash surprise checks
· Reconciliation of salary and benefits accounts
· Preparation of withholding tax forms for submission to the Revenue Department
· Accounting, book keeping and preparation of financial statements for ISA related companies
· Preparation of forms, list of shareholders and /or other documents for ISA related companies to be submitted to the Department of Commerce and Revenue Department
· Together with Controller joint daily supervision and evaluation of Accounting Staff
• Any other duties assigned by the Controller and/or CFO
Qualifications:
· Bachelor degree or higher in Accounting
· Five years or more experience in Chief Accountant position, with knowledge of Thai Accounting and Taxation Standards
· Ability to prepare full sets of accounting reports
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and good understanding of accounting standard software
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Thai
· Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
· Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work independently and without supervision and to meet deadlines
