English Lecturer (Native/Thai Nationality)
- The Employee agrees to teach English or equivalent and other responsibilities assigned by the University.
- The working duties includes student counseling, course development and lesson preparation with department or University associates, administrative meeting, etc.
- The Employee is required to post 5 hours a week during which students can come in and receive help or be advised. These hours should be filed with the Department Chairperson and Faculty Secretary, and written in the Course Syllabus.
- Support students with any emotional or behavioural problems and help to develop their social skills.
- Be able to take the initiative both inside and outside the classroom.
- Motivating and encouraging the students.
- Set a good example in terms of dress, punctuality and attendance.
- Be able to work professionally within an academic setting
- Undertake professional duties that may be reasonably assigned by the Head Lecturer
Qualifications
- Have a native-speaker level of English;
- Be educated to at least bachelor’s degree level but preferably to master’s degree level, and possess a TEFL certificate or equivalent;
- Have at least 3 years prior teaching experience with verifiable references;
- Have a relatively stable work history or be able to show good reasons for any frequent employment changes; and
- Be able to demonstrate a commitment to quality teaching and living and working long term in Thailand;
