TEFL Job Summary
Teach to Travel’s Thai positions are all based in both the south and the center of Thailand. The positions themselves are government primary and secondary schools. The teacher has a choice between teaching in the primary or secondary tiers, and will be expected to sign a 10 month contract. 5 month contracts are also applicable, but are less common.
The positions are usually in Lop Buri, Suri Buri, Hat Yai, and Songkhla. Other areas include Trang, Rayong, Phetchabun and Ranong. More than 70 teachers a year teach on this program, which makes socializing very easy.
The start dates for these positions are May and November, in line with the Thai school year. This can be stretched if absolutely necessary, but teachers are normally expected to be in Thailand by the beginning of each month.

TEFL Job Location
The positions in South Thailand are located, but not restricted to the following Places:
1) Lop Buri
2) Sara Buri
3) Phrae
4) Pratchinburi
5) Phetchabun
6) Aytthaya
7) Rayong
8) Sakon Nakon
9) Phichit
10) Nokhon Noyok
Each of these locations have been visited by Teach to Travel agents and have been confirmed as safe destinations for teachers to abide in.
The locations themselves are jointly agreed upon by the teacher and the Teach to Travel representative in Thailand. Below is a photo of the monkey temple at Lop Buri, and some local elephant riding!
All teachers will need to have the following criteria to apply for this position:
1) English as a Native Language
2) A University Degree
3) A teaching qualification (such as TEFL/TESOL/CELTA/PGCE)
4) Be less than 40 years of age
