QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Education with strong English language communication skills
• Previous work experience in a school setting as a teacher or assistant
• Education qualifications/teacher certification would be beneficial
• Able to read, write and speak English fluently (Very important)
• Good management of resources
• Good judgment and decision making
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well as a team
• Able to adapt to a variety of situations, flexibility
• Eager to learn and well organized
• Computer literate

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work in elementary school classrooms with students during core subjects ie: math and language arts in small groups

or 1-1 as determined by the homeroom teacher and learning support teacher

• Work with students in small group or 1-1 situations in learning support classroom as determined by the classroom teacher and learning support teacher.

• Communicate with elementary learning support teacher re: student observations, progress towards goals

• Attend parent meetings when needed

• Attend elementary department meetings

• Attend Thai language and culture department meetings

• Attend full staff meeting

• Performs any other tasks as assigned by supervisors (Direct and Hierarchical)
