Harrow International School Bangkok was founded in 1998 as the first Harrow International School
in Asia and is now mature and thriving, with 1,450 students on our green 14 hectare site in North
Bangkok, Thailand.

Responsibility
The objectives of the Recreational Facilities Co-ordinator is responsible for the organisation of
recreational and conference facilities. The duties include the following :
Respond to clients enquiries regarding the leasing of facilities
Keep client lists and accurate booking information on the facilities management system
Meet and greet clients and users of recreational and conference facilities
Unlock and secure recreational and conference facilities for clients
Manage the setup of recreational and conference facilities (outside of curriculum time)
Explain policies and procedures to visitors of the facilities, and to staff as applicable
including emergency procedures
Ensure facilities are being used appropriately by the client/recreational user
Ensure that proper health and safety practices are adhered to by visitors, staff, guests and
students
Conduct fitness room inductions for new users
Conduct daily checks of all facilities, following the check list guidelines and completing
relevant documentation
Monitor the maintenance of facilities assigned including grounds and buildings
Inspect and report any damage caused by clients or individual users to the Campus
Manager
Assist in keeping the recreational and conference areas clean and tidy, reporting issues to
the facility helpdesk
Report health and safety issues to PCS and Campus Manager
Attend weekly meetings with the Campus Manager and Facilities Manager regarding
facilities bookings and events
Liaise with PCS Logistics Manager, Director of Sport and Grounds Manager where
appropriate
Assist in responding to emergencies within the scope of training
Adhere to the school dress code and perform any other duties as requested
Willing to work flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends when appropriate.
Be proactive in seeking new clients
Qualifications
• Thai Nationality
Bachelor Degree
• 3 years’ experience in management or working in recreation, or any equivalent
combination of education and experience (preferably in an international school)
• The ability to work well as part of a team
• A responsible attitude, trustworthy, with good customer service skills
• Good command of English, spoken and written (preferably International English Language
Testing System score level 6 or Test of English for International Communication score 600 or
above)
• ICT literate, highly proficient user of Microsoft Office and a good knowledge of the internet
• Ability to work under pressure and to work without close supervision
Extensive knowledge of operational procedures of recreational facilities or other
comparable facilities
Willingness to learn and excellent interpersonal skills
Knowledge of preventative maintenance of recreation facilities
