Teacher employment at Tara Pattana International School
Homeroom Teachers.
These are native speakers of English from one of the following countries UK, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand (no exceptions). A working knowledge of the English National Curriculum or the Early Years Foundation stage is essential, as is a verifiable degree from an accredited university plus at least two years teaching experience in related school environment.
If the first degree is not Education related, a Master’s Degree in an Education related subject, or a Post Graduate Certificate/Diploma in Education are also required to qualify for registration with the Teachers Council of Thailand.
Assistant Homeroom Teachers
These are non-native speakers of English. The educational requirements are similar to those of homeroom teachers. However, in addition they must demonstrate an acceptable level of English by passing the TOEIC exam (or equivalent) at a stated level.
Documents required from applicants for a teaching post:
- Copy of Passport details page and current visa (at least 1 month remaining).
- Original Certificates and First Degree(s)
- Transcripts(s) of the qualifying degree.
- TOEIC/TEFEL/IEITS with an acceptable pass score (native speakers excepted).
- Police clearance.
- Suitable references
