About Anubaan Song PaSa Baan Ton Mai (Baantonmai Trilingual Kindergarten – Pranuntanit Trilingual Kindergarten – PNN):
Anubaan Song PaSa Baan Ton Mai (Baantonmai Trilingual Kindergarten – Pranuntanit Trilingual Kindergarten – PNN) was founded in 1982 by Dr. Prachumporn, under the name Pranuntanit Nursery. During that year, Dr. Prachumporn worked as the head of the Satit Demonstration School of Khonkaen and later work as a teacher at Chulalongkorn Demonstration School. Given her gained experience and knowledge, she decided to quit her job and open her own school for her 3 years old daughter and 2 years old son. Thus, she named the school in honor of her daughter, Pranuntanit.
Initially, she enrolled her own children and seven more from her close friends who believed in the expertise of Dr. Prachumporn in handling, teaching and caring of their children. In the following years, Dr. Prachumporn did her doctoral research in Education from Illinois State University, USA. That led her to apply child centered and creativity approaches in the curriculum of her own school.
Philosophy
The Philosophy of Baan Ton Mai focuses on the whole child. This is to help them achieve self satisfaction to become successful in their chosen field and useful citizens of the world. Young children have an innate desire to learn. The Montessori environment provides the child with a structure that allows for freedom within limits and offers developmentally appropriate activities to aid the child in his/her development. Movement and active involvement with the learning environment, rather than dependence on adults for constant external direction, fosters patterns of concentration and perseverance in the child. The focus is on the process of learning, rather than on the simple accumulation of facts. Skills are presented which teach children how to learn and which encourage them to be self-motivated, competent learners. Our teachers provide the opportunity for children to function in a safe and positive climate. The result is a child who becomes a lifelong, passionate learner who embodies a sincere love of learning.

Our Goals are to promote and enhance the potentials of every student.
