About: Satri Angthong School is a government school that was built near the city hall in B.E. 2482. Because of the increasing numbers of students, it was moved twice until it stayed in its present location, which is 34 rai. It was a single-sex school for girls but it was changed to a co-educational school in B.E. 2540.
On three occasions Satri Angthong School has been rewarded by The Crown Princess Sirinthorn. The first time was in B.E. 2528, the second was in B.E. 2545, and the third one was in B.E. 2553.
