TinyTap: a Must-Use Open Educational Resources Website

TinyTap Learn and Make Games - Open Education Resources for allTinyTap is a must-use open educational resources platform, which I have found wonderful as a teacher, as a learner and as a father. This is just a great tool for both learning and teaching as it offers a different approach to learning -and teaching, as it combines sounds, images and click motions. As a teacher I sometimes go with my students to the computer room and pair them so they can help each other in front of the computer.

What is TinyTap exactly and how can I teach and learn from it?

As mentioned above, TinyTap is a ludic and fun open educational resources website which meets the taste of my students for computers and video games while learning with peers and therefore complying with academic requirements as well as family expectations. This is just another approach to education and another tool to use in the classroom from time to time -which activity pleases my students very much (remember that if you catch the interests of your students, the learning process will follow that easily.)

You can create and build educational activities such as hands-on stories, question games, playing or composing music, historical quizzes, grammar games, explanation of words, ideas and concepts and more (this means you and your students can participate in creating a games and activity while enjoying free access to thousands of already made learning activities.)

What ages?

I believe TinyTap was created to support teaching and learning to and of young students, yet it has now become a tool for learning and teaching all agesand I strongly checking their website should you be a teacher, a parent or a student: www.tinytap.it
