Welcome to Domuschola International School

Where merging the best practices of progressive and traditional education is the foundation  of providing children with world class education — exceptional education closer to home!

We are an IB World School for the Primary Years Programme (PYP). IB World Schools all over the world share a common philosophy that is committed to high quality, challenging, international education that we believe is important for our students.

At our school, we aspire to foster a learning environment that promotes and sustains curiosity and inquiry. We see our students becoming internationally-minded “citizens of the world”.

Our school promotes a lasting spirit of discovery and a lifelong enjoyment of learning that develops the pupil into a unique individual and a productive member of society.

We believe in capitalizing on the unique needs and interests of each child as the basis for a curriculum suited to developing individual skills and abilities.

We maximize learning by exposing the children early on to real-life, day-to-day experiences and tasks, making learning practical and experiential.

Keeping a small class size enables us to manage students better and ensure mastery of concepts.

We provide a holistic, humanistic and integrative formation program for developing in the young an integrated, unified view of the world around them.

We also believe in the active and collaborative involvement of parents in the schooling process, based on the natural duty and interest of parents in the education of their children.

The school follows the mandated curriculum of the Department of Education. However, in keeping with its goal of developing critical thinking, the school encourages student-initiated, but guided, inquiry and the free exchange of ideas.

The curriculum does not seek to impose any single view of truth but rather to help pupils to engage with issues critical importance and relevance to their lives. Its goal is to encourage open-minded discussion and develop skills of problem-solving and decision-making.
