I. Mission:
The basic content of the mission of the school was formed in 2000 (when the school called the University of Pedagogy Haiphong). When renamed Hai Phong University (month 4/2004), the mission of the school is complemented and confirmed: Hai Phong University is a center of multidisciplinary university training and field; is the basis of scientific research, application and transfer of technology, providing human resource quality national standards and regional, serving the needs of economic development – economic development of Hai Phong City, the northern coastal province and the country.
II. The goal and mission development of Hai Phong University
1. Objectives:
The target of the school is to build Hai Phong University became Education Center – Training, Scientific Research and Technology Transfer strong northern coast.
2. Objectives, specific tasks:
In the years 2000 2004, the goal of the University is focused on increasing the quality of training of pedagogical sector, providing service human resources education and training; while maintaining the quality of some sectors outside education, preparing multi-sectoral development.
From 2004 to 2007, the mission and goals of the identified development provides interdisciplinary training of human resources to serve the cause of industrialization and modernization, stick to the goal of social-economic development city of Hai Phong and the provinces of the northern coastal plain.
From 2007 to 2010, stability and development Schools interdisciplinary training, vocational; open some postgraduate education sector while enhancing the development of teaching staff with PhD, Associate Professor, Professor.
From 2010 to 2015, on the basis of stability and development training, school enhancement activities of scientific research, application and transfer of technology to enhance the quality of training and contributing to economic development – society; continue to expand the training and deployment Postgraduate Training NCS when eligible.
