DEVELOPMENT HISTORY

  • 1960: Commencement of Construction;
  • 1962: The opening of the first course under the name of Danang Technical School;
  • 1975: Name changed to Nguyen Van Troi Vocational Technical School;
  • 1987: Name changed to Nguyen Van Troi Technical School;
  • 1994: Name changed to College of Technology
  • FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILIES
    UD-CT is an affiliate of the University of Danang. It is responsible for training associate bachelor and high quality secondary professional technician resources for the Central Highlands and the country, contributing towards Vietnam’s industrialisation, modernisation and international integration.
    STAFF  
    UD-CT currently has 228 staff, including 170 instructional ones. Among them, there are 15 doctors of engineering/science (01 associate professor, 01 senior lecturer), 23 PhD candidates, 72 masters and 61 bachelors.
    FACILITIES
    • UD-CT’s 42.000 m2 campus consists of seven zones.
    • Administrative zone: 25 rooms;
    • Lecture halls: 44 well-equiped classrooms;
    • Laboratory zone: 18 laboratories, 7 computer rooms;
    • Workshop zone: 14 workshops;
    • Library: 4000 titles with over 66.000 copies;
    • Dormitory: enough rooms for 1000 students;
    • P.E. zone: a mini stadium and a gymnasium.
