University of Labor and Social Affairs , formerly known as the Labor Department of Labor Wage established in 1961, with the initial task is to train staff for all wage labor north.
In 1991, the school merged with the Manage Social Affairs Officer, was named University of Labor and Social Affairs . May 1/1997 was upgraded to the College of Labor, Social Affairs [2].
On 01.31.2005, the Government issued Decision No. 26/2005 / QD-TTg, founded the University of Labour – Society on the basis of upgrading the College of Social Labor.
MOLISA issued Decision 1181 / QD-MOLISA on Nguyen Tiep (Rector of Labour and Social Affairs) stop operating from the University of Labour and Social Affairs dated 01.10.2011. Mr. Doan Mau Diep, Deputy Minister of MOLISA will concurrently hold the position on behalf of Mr Nguyen Tiep.
