As of March 2017, KIS is a collaborative community of over 650 students and 48 nationalities.. Its dedicated teachers and supportive parents work together to attain student success. KIS International School is licensed by the Thai Ministry of Education and is an active member of the International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT). 02. ICS International School
Since it’s establishment, ICS has maintained a tradition of quality education. Accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), we offer an American system of education for age 4 through grade 12. ICS has an enrollment of over 940 students, representing more than 22 different countries. The cultural diversity of our student body contributes to the quality of education enjoyed by our students.
The strength of our school lies in our qualified staff and our commitment to students. The majority of our teachers are recruited from the United States and Canada. Students, families and faculty find ICS to be a caring community where community participation is encouraged. At our school, students are equipped within the classroom to function beyond the classroom.
ICS’s academic program is college preparatory and emphasizes community service and AP class enrollment. We presently require 40 hours of personal community service (PCS) as well as additional hours in our Serving-and-Learning-Together (SALT) trips each year. 03. Pan Asia International School
The school curriculum is based on American standards and content. PAIS teachers implement the curriculum through modern, research-based, student-centered methodologies, including inquiry and project-based units of study. All PAIS teachers are highly qualified and come to PAIS with previous experience in their field of education.
We use high quality, current textbooks from a variety of Western publishers to support the learning that occurs in our classes. The content of these textbooks matches the standards and benchmarks in place at PAIS. Textbooks for the study of Thai, Arabic and Chinese languages have also been carefully selected to support learning in those subject areas. In addition to textbooks, PAIS teachers produce a wide variety of content materials that suit the learning needs of their students. The PAIS library also provides considerable content resources for teachers.
Our core subjects are English Language Arts, Science, Mathematics, History and Social Science, Computer, Health and Physical Education, Values and Thai Language and Culture. We also have art, music, Arabic & Chinese as optional subjects.
For Grade 11 and 12, we offer the IB Diploma which is the most reputable High School Diploma program around the world. Almost all good universities accept IB Diploma students
04. Lanna International School (LIST)
