About this school : Located in Ban Dongpalane Thong in central Vientiane Capital, the Lao-Singapore Business College (LSBC) currently offers English courses as well as a full time High Diploma. Computer classes started recently. LSBC was founded in 2003 as a Lao-Singaporean joint-venture to serve the needs of the local community and businesses for high quality training in the use of international languages. In early 2007, the management was changed to an all-Lao team and the school was relocated to a new building in the center of Vientiane. LSBC has grown steadily to its present size thanks to our dedicated staff of both Lao and foreign teachers who are proud to serve a student population of around 250 people. Our students range in age from young children to adult learners and in ability from absolute beginners to advanced.
The school is firmly committed to providing professional, affordable tuition to students: We offer quality courses at a reasonable price. The school is air-conditioned, with clean, bright and well-ventilated classrooms. The average class size is 12-15 students, with a maximum of 18. The library contains a full range of textbooks including reference books, supplementary teaching activities and games. The school has a no smoking policy, which extends to the teachers’ room and coffee bar. LSBC has received certification from the Department of Private Education of the Lao Ministry of Education, in accordance with Decree 64/PM of the Prime Minister’s Office on Private Education. This Department is responsible for regulating the establishment and operation of private schools in Laos, supporting and encouraging their development and organising and managing the private education sector. The School is the only one in Lao PDR to hold the qualifications from the London Chamber of Commerce (LCCI) that allows students to get a certificate which is well known in Europe, Asia and throughout the world for its quality.
