About Bicpa-Ftms Accountancy Academy :
The institute is known as “THE BRUNEI DARUSSALAM INSTITUTE OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS” (BICPA).
The principal activity of the Institute is to provide an entity for accountants to support and advance the status and interest of the accountancy profession in line with the aims and objectives of the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
The secretariat office of BICPA is situated at Deloitte and Touche’s office: 5th Floor, Wisma Hajjah Fatimah, 22 & 23 Jalan Sultan, Bandar Seri Begawan BS8811, Negara Brunei Daruassalam.
The membership of the Institute fall under the following categories:

- Affiliate Members
- Provisional Members
The BICPA Accountancy Academy (BAA) was set up in February 1998 to run AAT courses and provision of other accounting education. It however ceased operation on 5th February 2002 upon the incorporation of BICPA-FTMS Accountancy Academy Sdn Bhd- an associate company of the Institute. BFAA now run professional accountancy tuition and professional development programme in Brunei.
