About Sekolah Menengah Tanjong Maya :
The construction of Sekolah Menengah Tanjong Maya (SMTM) complex was allocated under the 9th National Development Plan. Construction started on 15th February 2007 and concluded on 10th February 2009. Built on a 12 acre (4.8563 hectares) site, the construction was conducted by M.COME Design and Construction with the cost B$18,840,909.68.
15th June 2009 saw the commencement of the operation of SMTM, Tutong in preparation for the third school term on 6th July 2009. In 2009, the accommodated students from Sekolah PDN PJ Sengkarai, Tutong was done and in 2010, the school has welcomed more students from SM RIPAS, SMSB, SMMH and SMSO who are residing in the SMTM’s catchment area.
