About this school :
The Forte Performing Arts (formerly known as PuppetShoulder Music & Danceworks) was founded in December 1995 by Ms. Sonia Quah, with only 70 students at that time and 2 teachers. In 2006, Ms. Bernardette Yeoh joined Forte Performing Arts as principal of the music department. With Ms. Sonia heading the dance and Ms. Bernardette heading the music department, the school now has grown to approximately 300 students and 14 teachers and staffs.
The school offers children (age 4 years onwards) and adults the opportunity to appreciate the art ofdance and music. With our dedicated teachers, students can venture through classes ranging fromBallet Lesson, Tap Lesson, Jazz Lesson, Piano Lesson, Little Mozart Music class, Vocal Training, Violin Lesson, Guitar Lesson and Drums Lesson.
The school follows the syllabus of the Imperial Society Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), Royal Academy of Dancing (RAD), Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM), and Trinity College of Music where all boards are recognized worldwide.
