About this school :
UUM International School is the first IB International Baccalaureate school to be established in the state of Kedah, Malaysia. It is the brainchild of Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), which is an eminent management university located in Sintok, Kedah. UUMIS is located within the university campus in Sintok and will begin its operation in March 2015.
Our Vision :
The vision of UUMIS is to establish a school that is responsive to the local philosophy and co-existent with global expectations.
We will achieve this with the help of a dedicated team of educators and a world-renowned international curriculum, International Baccalaureate (IB). Students will learn through inquiry and will not only master the subject areas but will also become critical thinkers and lifelong learners.
