University Degree
Fluent Korean Speaker
Experience working with youth in a residentail setting
General Duties
Pastoral duty in the boarding cluster: approximately 30 hours per week.
Pastoral care for the Korean students within the boarding community.
Assisting students in programs, under the guidance of a teacher. (Maximum 15 x 40 minute periods per week).
Assist and lead activities as part of the co-curricular program or coach a sports team.
Perform other tasks as directed by the Director of Boarding and Principal.
Boarding Duties
Boarding supervision involves being responsible for the safety and well-being of boarding students. Ensure a safe, fair and happy boarding environment for all
Ensure morning, afternoon and evening routines are carried out at appropriate times and registration is signed by the students.
Support students with their homework
Supervise and/or lead activities
Manage any incident that breaches the PTIS boarding rights and responsibilities
Notify any concerns of an emotional/social nature to the Director of Boarding
Support the Director of Boarding and colleagues.
During the year there are school camps, excursions and trips which are great opportunities to experience Thailand. Approval to attend these will be given by the Director of Boarding.
