DIRECTOR OF IT for NIST International School (Oct 2015)

Required for August 2016

NIST is looking for a connected and effective Director of IT to lead the educational and operational aspects of technology at the school. NIST has a one-to-one iPad programme from Years 2 to 6 and a one-to-one MacBook programme from Years 7 to 13.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the IT Manager and IT support team to ensure that infrastructure, purchasing and support allow learning with technology to flourish
• Coordinate with the digital learning coaches and Deputy Heads of IB Curriculum to ensure alignment and managed development of blended learning whilst promoting innovation through research and development
• Work closely with the NIST Leadership Team to develop and implement strategic directions for IT
• Work closely with the Head of Operations to ensure the efficient and effective management of the IT budget
