Teaching Opportunity: English Teacher
NC, KS3 and KS4 IGCSE
St Stephen’s International School Khao Yai (SISKY) is seeking is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified, dynamic, enthusiastic and gifted teacher of English and ESL to join our successful teaching team in August 2015 for the upcoming academic year.
The position will involve teaching IGCSE English First Language, some IGCSE English Second Language and IGCSE English Literature in the future. Years 7-9 follow the English NC.
A willingness to offer drama or another additional subject or activity would be valuable.
SISKY is located near the town of Pak Chong and is at the entrance to Khao Yai, Thailand’s oldest national park, it is around 200km from Bangkok. The school has been open for nearly 20 years and caters for both boarding and day students. There are currently 130 students on roll across primary and secondary. It is a very picturesque area to live and work in.
The position would suit someone who has a sense of adventure, is independent but is prepared to share their ideas. The successful candidate will need to be capable of working in a strong team environment and have a high level of professionalism and work ethic.
The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering KS3 English and IGCSE/GCSE English as a First Language. This post will be a rewarding experience and an opportunity to work in a fascinating part of the world.
