Job Description

• Design internal and external promotional materials, publications and multimedia work according to established brand standards
  • Fill requests from various school departments
  • Coordinate creation of materials for events and programmes
  • Coordinate the layout of the school magazine and yearbook
• Assist in the planning and coordination of the school’s internal and external communication, promotional activities and events
• Contribute to the building of a strong school brand
• Build relationships with creative external service providers
• Identify opportunities to improve existing systems and procedures to optimize departmental resources
• Grow design skills through continual industry reviews and professional development opportunities
• Conduct other duties as required by the Communications Manager

Qualifications

• Advanced user of Adobe suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Experience in branding, logo creation, magazine/newspaper design and advertisement/poster design
• Experience with video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro) would be advantageous
• Knowledge/experience in traditional visual art would be advantageous
• Other qualifications
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Intermediate/high level of fluency in English
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • People-oriented professional with positive attitude
  • Flexibility and ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of photography principles is desirable
