Class sizes for the International Studies Program are generally 20-30 students with 50 minutes class sessions.
THE SALARY is negotiable.
HOLIDAYS: At least four clear weeks between March and the end of May and a further two clear weeks at least in October, with many occasional festival days or public holidays during the year.
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS
The school provides limited, but standard, health coverage.
It also deals with work permit applications and administration and all visa renewals and extensions. There is a proposal to increase the work permit fee by 1000%. Should this happen, the school will continue to take responsibility for the costs.
CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE:
A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent essential)
A qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (desirable)
Sensitivity to the needs of young people learning a language
A desire to experience a culture different from their own
