About the Role
This role will help support our content platforms, editorial teams and engagement service for our customers. Specific responsibilities include:
Set in-market content strategies and lead experienced content specialists, engagement specialists
Report to key stakeholders on content curation strategy, planning and engagement KPIs for growth & ROI
Conduct orientation and on the job training to develop superior news judgement
Facilitate market-wide improvements on Philippines content and materials from domestic and international partners
Drive and execute with the team to create succinct, engaging and innovated headlines & snippets
Monitor processes and conduct research policies to organize fact-checking procedures & sources
Work in a large multi-national team, editorial contributors and content curators.
Requirements
5+ years experience in PH to English translations, editorial, copywriting or technical writing
Previous team management experience is required for this position (Editor-in-Cheif experience an advantage)
Worked with Content management systems and previous exposure to SEO writing
ROI driven mindset in moments spent on content, topics, categories, trends and behaviour
Ability to write catchy, engaging headlines or spot improvements
Native speaker with excellent written communication skills, well versed with editing, grammar and proofreading techniques
Previous journalism background which includes a strong news judgement, knowledge of legal & ethical issues in digital media.
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks independently
Fluent communication skills in English
