A versatile Secondary Science teacher is sought, capable of teaching KS3 Science, IGCSE Chemistry and Biology and A Level Biology. The precise mix of disciplines will be determined as students?option choices fall into place so a degree of flexibility will be expected of the successful candidate.
We have just opened a new purpose built Science building which is an excellent, well resourced teaching and learning environment. The Secondary team is hard working and dedicated so applicants should expect, if appointed, that they will be proactive in maintaining standards in school. They will be prepared to support their colleagues by contributing to the development of the school as well as playing an active role in extra curricular activities.
Applicants should be confident, friendly and expert at engaging students, always ensuring they achieve the best they can. A thorough understanding of assessment and progress tracking is expected with a focus on using data to improve performance.
