A versatile and creative Secondary teacher, with the capability to teach a second subject (an area of DT would be very useful or an interest in Media Studies) is sought to teach Art across KS3 and up to A level. The post will allow the successful candidate to develop schemes to suit their own specialism and interests. Our students are well motivated and creative so their teacher can expect great results.
The Secondary team is hard working and dedicated so applicants should expect, if appointed, that they will be proactive in maintaining standards in school. They will be prepared to support their colleagues by contributing to the development of the school as well as playing an active role in extra curricular activities.
Applicants should be confident, friendly and expert at engaging students, always ensuring they achieve the best they can. A thorough understanding of assessment and progress tracking is expected with a focus on using data to improve performance.
