****URGENTLY REQUIRED: Full-time Lecturer (Tourism Business Management) – 1 Thai + 1 Native Speaker****
Naresuan University International College (NUIC) was established by the Council of Naresuan University at its’ 94th meeting, on January 13, 2001, with a view to enhancing the effectiveness and reputation of Naresuan University as an international center for learning.
The mission of the International College is to educate undergraduates from all nationalities, especially, those in the Southeast Asian Region, to be responsible global citizens, adaptable to different cultures and environments. Additionally, research inquiries and academic services pertaining to the international arena are conducted. Cross-cultural sharing activities are promoted.
Now, we are looking for the dynamic lecturers joining our new program for 2 positions both Foreigner and Thai.
Qualifications of Applicants:
****Thai Applicant****
– A Master’s Degree or higher in Tourism Business Management/International Hospitality and Tourism/Business Administration from an acknowledged and accredited academic institute
– A positive attitude towards working in the Thai contexts and a quality of a good team player
– Prior work experience in related fields and research experience and publications are advantageous.
– A minimum IELTS 7.0 or higher
Foreign Applicant
Category A:
For native speakers of English from the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa
– A Master’s Degree or higher in Tourism Business Management/International Hospitality and Tourism/Business Administration from an acknowledged and accredited academic institute
– A positive attitude towards working in the Thai contexts and a quality of a good team player
– Prior work experience in related fields and research experience and publications are advantageous.
Category B:
For non-native speakers of English from the Philippines, India, Sri Lanka and other countries not included in Category A
– A Master’s Degree or higher in Tourism Business Management/International Hospitality and Tourism/Business Administration from an acknowledged and accredited academic institute
– A positive attitude towards working in the Thai contexts and a quality of a good team player
– Prior work experience in related fields and research experience and publications are advantageous.
– A minimum IELTS 7.0 or higher
Conditions of Employment:
– 10 hours of teaching/week (extra pay for extra teaching hours) for Thai
– 14 hours of teaching/week (extra pay for extra teaching hours) for Foreigner
– Research commitment
– Contributions in program/College activities
– Academic advisor to students
– Visa and work permit fees paid for by Naresuan University
