About: Somtawin Witead Suksa Huaymongkhon School (formerly Somtawin Hua-Hin School, English Program) was established in 2008 by Mrs.Uma Wattanajit. The Somtawin English Program was started in May 2009 with 240 students from Kinder 1 to Grade 12 and the number of student at the present in academic year 2013-2014 is 276 students. The students are both Thai and Internationalities with the current percentage of International students being approximately 50%. Teachers in the program are native English speakers.
The Somtawin offers all subjects in English with the exception of Thai taught by Thai teacher. The program follows the Thai National Curriculum (English Program) and has also been developed to take into account areas covered by the British and American Curriculum, and is therefore based on both Thai and Western Philosophies.
As subjects taught in English, students quickly obtain a very high level of language proficiency. This combined with the mix of international and Thai students enables learning to take place through a truly global prospective, and ensure that culture diversity of our community and global society are understood and appreciated.
Students develop the sense of themselves as life- long learner, skillful, decision makers and responsible citizens, appropriate knowledge developing, skills and awareness necessary for future challenges. The School have supporting facilities such as Kinder Building, Grade Students Building, Administration Building, Science Lab, Computer Lab, Library, Art Room, Football Field, Basketball Court, Playground, Swimming Pool and Canteen.

This is an excellent school which is achieving high standards compared to other schools in the area and very competitive in the school fees.
