Institutional Statement

 

VISION

The College of Law upholds that the rule of law is a vehicle for the attainment of the highest human aspirations and the maintenance of political, economic and social progress and, therefore, must be regarded with zeal in its study. The College of Law stands firm on the commitment that it must inculcate in its students, through a faculty of proven competence and unquestioned integrity, a proper sense of justice and fairness and a passion for truth.

 

MISSION

The College of Law aims to prepare the students in the area of litigation, mediation, arbitration or other alternative dispute resolution, advocacy, and academic or institutional leadership with nationalistic adherence as well as in management and administration of enterprises such as banking, real estate, investment and other lucrative callings.

 

OBJECTIVES

To prepare the law students in the area of litigation, mediation, arbitration or other alternative dispute resolutions advocacy, and academic or institutional leadership, as well as manager and administrator in different enterprises such as banking, real estate, investment, etc.

 

ORGANIZATION AND ADMINISTRATION

The College of Law of the Bulacan State University is committed to the advancement of the knowledge and values common to all educated persons. Excellence in instruction, research, extension, and student life is encouraged. The University´s law school strives to offer learning experiences and opportunities designed to help law students think effectively, develop the capacity to communicate, discriminate among values, and make relevant judgements.

All members of the University community share in the responsibility for providing and maintaining an environment conducive to the educational development of the law students at the College of Law. The University´s law school through its established governance process creates policies and procedures that help maintain this environment.

Every law student at the College of Law is obliged at all times to assume responsibility for his/her actions, to respect duly constituted authority, to be truthful, and to respect the rights of others, as well as to respect private and public property. In their academic activities, students are expected to maintain high standards of honesty and integrity and abide by the College of Law and the University´s rules and regulations as a whole.

By formulating policies, rules and regulations on student conducts, the College of Law of the University affirms the principle of student freedom that is coupled with acceptance of full responsibility for individual actions and the consequences of such actions.
