Welcome
It is hard to believe that SJI International High School only opened its doors in 2007. Our unique school has come a long way in a relatively short time. Today almost 800 students from Grade 7 (Sec 1) to Grade 12 (JC2) participate in the exciting programme offered at our school. We strive to offer our students a truly holistic education that both welcomes and celebrates diversity. Ourchallenging academic environment extends well beyond the four walls of the classroom.
Our success is due to the outstanding quality of teachers who, using a child-centred, active learning approach, strive to support the maximal development of each student. As a school with a Catholic and Lasallian foundation we welcome teachers and students of all faiths and from all cultural backgrounds. Our core values are central to everything that we do: spirituality, mutual respect, internationalism, leadership, experiences and service. We strive to develop students who are intrinsically motivated to serve others and to give back to the community.
We are justifiably proud of the outstanding achievements of our IB Diploma and IGCSE students. Many of our graduates have continued their studies at some of the top universities in the world. Outstanding academic results are only part of what we strive for. Our students leave SJII ready for lifelong learning. They are confident and able to express their own opinions but open to the ideas of others but also able to work as part of a team. We also strive to develop leaderships in all our students, encouraging then to take risks, pushing them outside their own comfort zones – for this is where real character is formed. SJII has managed to achieve academic excellence while setting the highest of holistic goals.
