Mathematics Teacher - Panyarat High School (Feb. 2015)

Position Available:

• The current position is for a middle school mathematics teacher (grades 7-9).
• Middle school topics include: pre-algebra, algebra 1 and some algebra 2, geometry, and right triangle trigonometry.
• As the school continues to grow there will be an opportunity in future years to teach high school mathematics (grades 10-12).
• High school topics include: pre-calculus, trigonometry, statistics and calculus.

Compensation:

• Competitive salary
• 12 month contract with paid holidays in April and October.

• Flight to home country every 2 years.

Working Requirements:

• Teachers will teach a maximum of 17 periods (50 minutes) per week.
• Working hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm.
• Teachers will be required to attend some parent meetings and school events on weekends periodically throughout the year.

Employment Criteria:

• Must be a native English speaker from The United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject area.
• Minimum experience of two years teaching in a high school, preferably in Thailand.
