Learning Support Assistant
Position to support a child in key stage 1/2 with his/her individual learning needs
Qualifications:
Thai Nationality
Fluent in Thai & English
Bachelor’s degree, Education degree preferred
Excellent in both spoken and written English
Computer literate
Experience in the education field is an advantage
Kind and understanding
Additional point:
Experience working with children who have specific learning needs
Experience working with individual children in a classroom environment
Confident working with large groups of children
Experience working with children aged 5-11 years
Cheerful, hard working, confident and creative
Job description
The ideal candidate would be expected to support a child on a 1:1 basis, who has learning difficulties.
They would be working in class, alongside the teacher and teaching assistant and supporting this
child with learning tasks throughout the school day.
They may need to adapt and differentiate the planning and work set by the teacher, in order for the
child to access the curriculum.
They would be expected to help promote the child’s independence and encourage good behaviour,
using our behaviour system in school.
