Ramkhamhaeng University Demonstration School (Elementary Level – English Programme – RUDS/EL/EP) is aiming high in providing its students educational excellence. An American based curriculum is being taught by qualified and experienced teachers coupled with special teaching strategies that enhance the educational program and meet the individual needs of the students. Coaching is one of the strategies that teachers in the grade school level are implementing. The skills and abilities of a good coach must be combined with a sound knowledge of the sport, as well as effective communication skills, to foster mutual understanding between coach and player.
Perseverance and optimism, then, become essential qualities that must be conveyed to students. To convey these two qualities to students, a coach, or teacher, must first be able to observe students and give constructive feedback so as to set and communicate standards for all other students to see. This can be in the form of holding students accountable for their attendance, study habits, and class participation.
