Director of Technology
RIS is looking for a Director of Technology to lead the educational and operational aspects
of technology at the school. RIS has a one-to-one laptop program from grades 6-12 and iPad
Program in Elementary School.
Key Responsibilities
● Oversee the IT Manager and IT support team to ensure that infrastructure,
purchasing and support allow learning with technology to flourish
● Coordinate with Technology Coordinator and Coordinator of IB Curriculum digital
learning to ensure alignment and managed development of blended learning while
promoting innovation through research and development
● Work closely with the RIS Leadership Team to develop and implement strategic
directions for the technology department
● Work closely with the School Manager to ensure the efficient and effective
management of technology budget
Requirements:
Postgraduate degree and administrative certification with successful experiences in the
following:
● Developing, coordinating, implementing and assessing K-12 educational technology
plans
● Familiar with current/emerging issues impacting schools related to technology
● Extensive experience in training/facilitating teachers and students in the use of
instructional technology in the curriculum
