School Psychologist
RIS is looking for a School Psychologist to help students succeed academically, socially,
behaviorally and emotionally. The Psychologist will collaborate with teachers,
administrators, parents and other professionals to help create a healthy, happy and
supportive environment for all. This job will include counseling individual and small group,
instruction and mentoring, participating as a member of school child study teams,
implementing parent meetings, teaching parenting skills, overseeing Second Steps Program
in the Middle School, and working as part of a team for the best interest of students.
Requirements:
● Postgraduate degree or equivalent in Psychology and licensure
● Extensive experience with helping students who are struggling with
social/emotional issues, psycho-educational testing, counseling with school age
children, working with multidisciplinary teams, and working with parents
● Experience in a K-12 school preferred
● Demonstrated interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
