MS Language/Social Studies
RIS seeks enthusiastic and engaging middle school teachers, who lead, inspire and promote
student learning. They should be knowledgeable about middle school student
development, subject area content, and best practices in differentiation, assessing student
learning and standard-based assessment. Additionally, they should have experience in
collaborative curriculum designs and are well-versed in unit development and backward
planning, as well as committed to developing literacy skills and integrating digital teaching
and learning strategies in their subject areas.
Requirements:
● A Master’s Degree in related fields preferred
● Current certification
● Minimum of two years of successful teaching experience in a K-12 school
