About this school: Top and Tip are friends who shared 14 years of experience working together at the same Pre-School. While Tip gained experience both as an assistant teacher and as a class teacher, Top worked as a parent liaison and school manager. With their joint experiences,
and a sincere passion for working with children, they have now started their dream, ‘The Tiny Seeds International Pre-School’ which they opened in July 2010. With their aspirations of making a second home for children, came the motto, ‘Learning at a place just like home.’ At Tiny Seeds, we aim to provide a stimulating environment for children where they can gain the confidence and enthusiasm necessary to learn, grow and have fun. No expense has been spared in providing the safest and most interactive facilities for our children. We have handpicked our staff to ensure they have the same vision and love for working with children and working together as a family here at The Tiny Seeds!
A Message From Top
When I was a child, I always dreamt of having my own kindergarten. Life went by on its way and then 11 years ago, it led me to start working as a school manager in an International Pre-school here in Bangkok. Working at the pre-school, I learned that there’s not always enough of giving as I’ve received so many things from the parents and children. All the laughs and smiles from them always warms my heart each and every day. Therefore, when life gave me the chance to open a school, I didn’t hesitate, and grabbed the opportunity! Together with Tip, a friend who is like family and someone who also shares the same attitude of giving, we hope to make “The Tiny Seeds” a place that is just like home for children where they feel that they are not far away from family. It’s a place where they can play and learn while at the same time being nurtured with love and care by all of us here. With that in mind, we named the school “The Tiny Seeds.” We believe that children are just like tiny seeds and we are just like soil, water and sunshine which can fertilise them and make them grow stronger into a big tree in the future.
A Message From Tip
I don’t know if it’s destiny that lead my way into working in a preschool but as I grew up I always loved playing with toys and even today, I still buy interesting toys to play with. I was always spending my summer holidays running around my aunt’s Thai kindergarten. I enjoyed watching them play, learn and most of the time pretend to be a teacher. During my studies in Australia, I
had a chance to get some work experience in a preschool. After finishing University with a bachelor’s degree in Business and a major in Advertising, I was still finding out what I wanted to be. Right after graduation, I went to work at one of the International Pre-school here in Bangkok, Thailand as a teaching assistant. I fell in love with the job which included creating great art work for the children to do (I love art), teaching them new things and watching them grow. I was awed by the way children developed so quickly. At the beginning of the year they were still young and didn’t know much but by the end of the year I could see the big changes in them; they learn and can do much more. That made me very happy and tears full when they would leave to go to a bigger school. I worked there for almost 15 years. I have learnt so much about how to be a great educator, not just by giving them
knowledge but also by teaching them to grow productively. I have gained a lot of experience and passion in teaching. I don’t know why but I enjoy making children laugh and giving them knowledge. After having been an employee for so many years, I had a dream to run my own pre-school. A dream to create a fun and happy learning place for children to grow that has a homely and secure environment for children. That dream has finally come true. My friend Top and I have chosen everything from the colours in the room and little toys to even the children’s’ toilet seat! We participated in every little detail to ensure our children have everything they need for many successful, comfortable and entertaining learning experiences here at The Tiny Seeds International
