From past to present
University of Pedagogy of Sports City. Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as the School of Education Gymnastics South under the Ministry of Education, established by Decision No. 17 / QD / GD dated 24.03.1976, later renamed the Pedagogical School Gymnastics TW2. By Date 06/08/1984 schools Council of Ministers Decision No. 34 / HDBT recognized Pedagogy Gymnastics TW2 of College Teachers’ Fitness TW2. On 11.08.2005 the school was Prime Minister issued Decision No. 285/2005 / QD-TTg Establishment University Sport Pedagogy in Ho Chi Minh City-based Pedagogical College Gymnastics TW2.
The political tasks of the school’s gym teacher training bachelor level University for schools from Quang Tri to, is the center of scientific research on physical education and teacher training be standardized calibration of Education under the Ministry of Education and Training.
So far the school has trained over 29 courses, more than 4,500 graduates, the training also addresses many regular college courses, in-service, in-service training for more than 15 provinces of Phu Yen, Dak Lak, Binh Thuan, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Ho. Ho Chi Minh City, Long An, Ben Tre, Dong Thap, Vinh Long, Tra Vinh, Can Tho, An Giang, Kien Giang, Soc Trang and Bac Lieu. On the other hand also cooperate training schools and scientific research with the University of Sports I, University of Sports II, Institute of Sports Science, Beijing Sport University, Hungary …
The school has collaborated with the University Sport I and University Sports 2 training completed 7 courses at the university level for more than 450 school gym teacher. Currently open next courses for more than 300 students, including some faculty involved in teaching for more than 80% occupancy rate, assuming a large volume of courses under the program of this training model .
For outstanding achievements in 1995 the school was awarded the Labor Medal Third Class, 1996 by the Ministry of Education and Training awarded a flag “advanced unit of excellence”, in 2000 was granted Labor Medal Second Class, in 2003 the Ministry of Education and Training Certificate of Merit “advanced units outstanding”, in addition to trade unions and youth associations for many years was the flagship in College blocks – TP THCN. On 03.24.1976 the Ministry of Education and Youth Government of the Republic of South Vietnam signed Decision No. 17 / QD-GD founded the School of Education Exercise Southern takeover based National Sports Training School part of the old regime at 639 Nguyen Trai Street District 5. The school has the task of training and retraining of teachers fitness for College, High School of Pedagogy and level 3 schools.
On 25.09.1976 the Ministry of Education signed Decision No. 45 / QD renamed the School of Education of School Gymnastics South Central Gymnastics Pedagogy 2.
On 23.07.1980 the Ministry of Education signed Decision No. 906 / QD allowed Pedagogical School Gymnastics TW2 open training systems 12 + 3 instead of the 12 + 2 from the beginning of the school year 1980-1981 onwards.
On 06.08.1984 the Council of Ministers Decision No. 84 / HDBT recognized College of Education Gymnastics TW2’s Pedagogical College Gymnastics Central 2 by the Ministry of Education directly manage. The school has the task of training and retraining of teachers in charge of fitness equivalent qualified college.
On 11.08.2005 the school was Prime Minister issued Decision No. 285 / TTg Establishment 2005QD-Pedagogical University Sport Ho Chi Minh City-based Pedagogical College Gymnastics TW2 by Ministry of Education directly manage. The school has the task of training and retraining of teachers in charge of fitness have a university degree
