Harrow International School Bangkok
Harrow International School Bangkok was founded in 1998 as the first Harrow International
School in Asia and is now mature and thriving, with 1,450 students on our green 14 hectare site
in North Bangkok, Thailand.

Responsibility
The objectives of the Examination Centre Officer are to provide administrative support and
organisation to the Examination Centre. The duties include the following :
Keep up-to-date with all examination requirements and ensure that staff and students
are aware of the relevant regulations, communicating these as necessary.
To assist in the preparation for and organisation of all examinations, both internal and
external, (including making estimated and actual entries) in accordance with the
regulations laid down by the regulators and the examination boards.
To receive and store all examination papers as they arrive and be responsible for all
examination stationery.
To make appropriate provision for students who have an examination clash, or other
special requirements, ensuring arrangements for candidates with special needs are met.
To be present at the start and finish of each examination session when timetabled and
to check candidate attendance and prepare seating plans.
To ensure examination papers are dispatched to the examination boards/examiners as
required by the regulations.
To be present on days the school is notified of results and make arrangements for their
distribution to students, and to attend results’ days and deal with queries from students,
staff and parents.
To assist in the supervision and management of examination invigilators, and support
invigilation where required.
To be confident in dealing with and resolving enquiries from school staff, students,
parents and Examination Boards regarding any examination held by the examination
centre.
To be the first point of contact for Examination Centre, to deal with visitor enquiries,
handling and receiving telephone calls, messages and fax messages and referring them
to the appropriate member and answering questions related to the Examination Centre.
Assisting in the preparation of training to meet the required standard for conducting of
examinations
Supporting the entry process of students for all examinations
Processing and prepare of examination results
Offering initiatives in developing and ensuring high levels of achievement in owns areas
of responsibilities
Support the promotion of the Harrow Examination Centre
Examination Centre Officer
Qualifications
• Thai Nationality
Bachelor Degree
• At least two years relevant experience related to work field (preferably in an
International school)
• The ability to work well as part of a team
• A responsible attitude, having service mind and trustworthy
• Good command of English, spoken and written (preferably IELTS score level 6 or
TOEIC score 600 or above)
• ICT literate with a good knowledge of internet, Microsoft Office at a highly proficient
level
• Ability to work under pressure and to work without close supervision
Experience of using an MIS (School Management Information System)
Willingness to learn and excellent interpersonal skill
Aware of the unique demands of working in a school environment
