Program Officer (Center for Learning, Innovation and Quality (CLIQ)) for AIT (Sept 2015)

The Program Officer at the Asian Institute of Technology (P.O. Box 4, Klong Luang, Pathumthani 12120, Thailand) will provide administrative support for the Vice president of Academic Affairs. The Program Officer must be flexible and able to adapt to varying and challenging demands of the job.

Qualification:

• Master’s degree
• The position requires good command of the English language in terms of speaking, reading and writing. He/she must have well-developed web skills that include:
  • Assist in the management of “moodle”
  • Designing and maintaining website
  • Design and operation of blogs
• The Program Officer must have a ‘teamwork first’ attitude and be able to relate to the secretarial pool and other staff at AIT in an efficient and proficient manner.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint are desired as well as the abilitiy to gather information from the internet and other resources.
• Familiarity and facilty with institute intranet systems such as MOODLE is eventually required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Office management and development of an “ electronic office”
• Institute communications with MOODLE and other open-source systems
• Documentation and analysis for ABET and other accreditation; ranking and rating
• Coordinate meetings of the Business Plan, and assist with preparation of its Report
• Conducting research and analysis
• Any other duties assigned by the VPAA
